Observatoire de Lyon

The Observatoire de Lyon is an "Observatoire des Sciences de l'Univers" (OSU) and an internal school of the Université Lyon 1, co-piloted by INSU-CNRS. The Observatory's mission is to promote research in two laboratories (the Laboratoire de Géologie de Lyon, or LGL-TPE, and the Centre de Recherche en Astrophysique de Lyon, or CRAL), to disseminate knowledge to the general public and to schoolchildren (by means of a special project), and to promote the use of the Observatory's facilities to the general public and schoolchildren (see here), and toa next generation of geoscientists at Lyon 1 University.

Virtual Geology Lyon

The goal of the "Virtual Geology Lyon" website is to list several virtual resources and 3D educational content in geosciences. It includes collections of digitized objects, virtual field work andimmersive experiences in virtual reality. This is an opportunity to bring together the work of researchers and teacher-researchers from Lyon, as well as to reference the initiatives and resources available internationally. Enjoy your visit!
