3rd year of Bachelor in Fundamental Geology (L3 Geosciences)

This is a fundamental training program of excellence that prepares students for research-oriented Master's degrees, offered through a University-Grande École partnership (Lyon 1 and ENS Lyon).
Whatever your former curriculum, this L3 will provide you with the theoretical and methodological bases to continue towards a research-oriented training in a demanding academic context.
The training is 3/4 composed of a common core including field work, digital skills (Computer Science, Mathematics, Digital Cartography....) and basic knowledge of the Earth system. A one-month internship to discover the world of research is also offered. The rest of the year is designed according to your affinities and allows you to pre-specialize in the following fields: Earth and Planets (EP, orange ), Surface and Lithosphere (SL, grey
) et Paleontology/Sedimentology/Paleoenvironments (PSP, green
).
The courses take place on two sites: the ENS de Lyon campus and the Doua campus (University Lyon 1).
Here is the list of the subjects of the common core which will cover the first semester and part of the second:
